Conservatories

Victorian

Victorian conservatories are by far the most common among British homes today. With noticeable features - a front bay area, steep pitched roof and glamorous details.

This type of conservatory comes in either a 3-facet style, and a 5-facet style:

With the 3-facet Victorian style, the front bay of the conservatory provides three large, wide central windows creating more possible living space and natural lighting - often a well-suited conservatory for the majority of properties.

The 5-facet style of this conservatory also has the traditional bay front, but with the difference of five windows. This creates an even more appealing conservatory.

Georgian

The Georgian conservatory boasts a flat front. It has an understated style that is a variant of the Victorian conservatory and is perfectly suited for fitting the style of many different homes in Devon. These conservatories often give clean and simple appearances with stronger, bolder lines; allowing it to be classed as a more modern style.

The full square corners that are characteristic of the Georgian style, aids in maximising the interior floor space of a property when opposed to the more rounded corners that are associated with the Victorian style conservatory.

Orangery

For those people who want a conservatory with a difference, the Orangery conservatory style is definitely at the top of the list. The ‘Orangery’ is some-what of a new take on the traditional atrium-style of conservatories that has been brought up to date thanks to the very latest in technology and design concepts.

The often stunning Orangery conservatory style helps to provide the flooding of light into adjoining rooms. The enhanced height of its' interior also creates a feeling of a grand design that is sure to appeal to the any homeowner.

Lean-To

Lean-To conservatories are a must for anyone that prefers the vibe of a Mediterranean-style sunroom. Whether you want a traditional or contemporary design, this conservatory is ideal for those properties with an awkward area in which to fit that extra bit of living space. The roof pitch is variable - even a shallow pitch could fit perfectly under a low bungalow roof, where-as a more steep pitch would match the roof of a more common terraced house. Sometimes referred to as a "sunroom" or a "garden room", a Lean-To conservatory brings a taste of the Mediterranean to your home.

P-Shape

Finally, The P-Shape conservatory offers the perfect large design style for any home. It combines a mix of both the Lean -To and the Victorian styles creating the perfect conservatory for those properties in need of larger extra living spaces. By merging these two styles, you can create unique, individual conservatories that are big enough to offer two separate living areas, such as a play room and living room.

The Victorian side of this conservatory helps to create the P-shape that brands this style so, and, as with a regular Victorian style, can be either a 3 or 5-faceted design. The Lean-To lends the structure a flavour of the Mediterranean.

Whichever style you feel would suit your home best, we would be more than happy to construct it for you.
